Food Allergy Can Opener: Who in your world just "gets" it?
Blog Post #248 — It’s time to give the people who are there for you and your children a public shout-out. Now that it’s November, I will again be featuring your CAN Openers. I have a few awesome posts that have already been sent to me, and I will begin featuring them again in the upcoming weeks! Let’s get more.
We all have people in our lives who go above and beyond to make our food allergy journey flow smoother. These are the advocates who understand the severity of our reactions and stand with us to make our worlds safer every single day.
Since I started the blog, I have been highlighting the people who have been CAN Openers in my life — from my roommates, to individual family members, to my school nurse, and countless others.
Who is a CAN Opener in your life? Tell me who they are. Tell me why. I just might feature them in an upcoming Friday post. If you’re interested, email me (firstname.lastname@example.org) or message me on my site or on social media.
